Top 3% nationally
Old Town has more pre-1930 homes per capita than Bangor. We're RRP lead-safe certified on every crew because you have to be. We see a lot of original clapboard siding (some reusable, most past its life), hand-split cedar roofs replaced in the 1970s and now failing, and original plaster walls that crack when you breathe on them.

Orono CEO office runs smoothly — most residential permits pulled within a week. Shoreland zoning (within 250 ft of a great pond like Pushaw) requires a different application and is strictly enforced. We handle shoreland submissions regularly.
